Good Grief of Northwest Ohio
Established in 2012, Good Grief of Northwest Ohio provides compassionate, no-cost grief support for children, teens, young adults, and families who have experienced the death of someone significant in their lives. The organization creates safe, supportive spaces where young people can gather with peers who understand loss, express their thoughts and feelings, and build healthy coping skills through age-appropriate activities such as art, play, journaling, discussion, and other expressive approaches.

Little Blessings Veteran & Community Outreach
Little Blessings Veteran and Community Outreach
Founded in 2018 by Jamie Paxton, a 25-year Air Force veteran, Little Blessings Veteran and Community Outreach uses the unique healing power of horses to help veterans and military families reconnect, rebuild and thrive. At the heart of the organization is a special herd of therapy horses who help veterans, their children, spouses and caregivers find connection in a peaceful and supportive environment. These horses – combined with licensed mental health support, veteran advocacy, lived military experience and a caring community of volunteers – offer a unique approach to navigating the challenges of military and civilian life.

Love & Luggage of Northwest Ohio
Love and Luggage of Northwest Ohio is a newly formed nonprofit that supports young adults who have aged out of the foster care system, especially those in Lucas County and the surrounding region. Many of these young people enter adulthood without the family safety net others may rely on for encouragement, guidance, or emergency help. Love and Luggage was created to walk alongside them during that transition, offering practical assistance, community connection, and the reassurance that they are not alone.
